Format:
No Minimum of teams per age/gender group.
All teams will play a round robin format against teams from within their division. The top 4 teams in each division will play off in single elimination games with the top 2 advancing to the division championship game.
Events and Age Groups:
All ages as of December 31st of current year.
6-12 years old
13-16 years old
17-29 years old
30-49 years old
50 + years old
Rules and Regulations:
- Play each hole from tee to basket in the fewest throws.
- Each throw counts as 1 stroke.
- Play from where your disc lands (your “lie”).
- Must complete the hole by getting the disc in the basket.
-First hole: assigned or random order.
-After that: lowest score on previous hole tees first.
-During a hole: farthest from the basket throws next.
-Mark your lie with your disc or a mini marker.
-You must plant at least one foot on or directly behind the lie.
-No stepping past your lie before release.
-Must show balance after throwing.
-Falling or stepping forward early = foot fault (penalty throw).
-+1 penalty throw.
-Play from the last in-bound point or drop zone.
-+1 penalty throw.
-Go to the drop zone or rethrow (depends on course rules).
-3-minute search limit.
-If not found: +1 penalty then return to previous lies and rethrow.
30 seconds to throw once: It’s your turn and the area is clear
No talking or moving during someone’s throw.
Don’t throw if people are within range.
No littering or damaging course.
Let faster groups play through (if applicable). Violations can lead to warnings, then penalties.
Registration Deadline:
Registration Deadline as designated by your Regional Director
All registrations are done through your Regional Director, who will determine the Regional Deadline. The registration fee must also be submitted to your Regional Director. Signed consent forms must accompany the waivers.
No late registrations will be accepted.
Events will be canceled if there is only one team registered. Should any event be canceled due to lack of registrations, the athletes being affected by the cancellation will be given an opportunity to re-register in another suitable category provided that event is scheduled to run.
